Uzi Uzochi Onyejuruwa, better known by his stage name UZI, was born on August 1, 1988 and raised in the neighborhood of Fairway (located in the city of Miramar, Florida). UZI started to take rapping seriously at the tender age of 17 where he would write bars and just freestyle as much as possible. UZI has a delivery that easily captures the ears of his peers and those who have never even heard of him due to his versatility and impeccable flow. It's very refreshing to hear a young artist hit the scene with vivid story lines, hard hitting punch lines, and dope rhymes we can actually repeat and understand. UZI is like no other, he has studied Rap-Hip Hop from various styles and delivery techniques and even learning about the business aspect of the entertainment industry. Diallo a.k.a Monterey Jack Most artist today say their music is different. But how many artist credit Mozart as one of their main influences, plays 19 instruments, and has performed the Chopan at Carnegie Hall? Exactly. Mixing rap, rock, pop, R&B and pretty much whatever else comes to mind Diallo, a.k.a Monterey Jack, is taking his music to an entirely different level. Diallo fell in love with music the first time it was introduced to him as a child. A completely self taught musician whose performances are just as energetic and innovative as his music, Diallo is being recognized as a completely different type of artist. Originally from Trinidad, Diallo and his family emigrated to the United States where they sought a location compatible to the tropical islands of Trinidad. The family found the sunny beaches of Miami were a place they could call home. Diallo can recall the first time he had the desire to play the piano. "There was a teacher named Ms. Dorothy that taught music class, she showed us the piano and played a chord. When school was over I went back to the music room and I just sat there until I got that chord. After that, everyday I was playing the piano." He continued his musical growth after discovering a local neighborhood center which is known as the Cultural Arts Center. It was there he taught himself how to play almost every instrument he could get his young hands on. Soon the young prodigy was recognized and eventually made it into the Florida Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. Diallo continued to teach himself how to master everything he'd learned about music. He teamed up with a local production company, Wolfgang 730 Productions. This team brought out yet another talent he possesses, production and engineering. His notoriety skyrocketed after he released his self produced mix tapes, "If","When", and "My Radio" just to name a few. Diallo single handily wrote, performed, recorded and played the instruments, engineered and produced his mix-tapes by himself. The music he produced was so unique, it caught the attention of several well known and local artist. Diallo has done collaborations with artist such as JT Money, Hustle Holics, Big Mall, Under Surveillance, Nubawn, Seba, Propa, and a host of others. Outside of music Diallo's life was anything but harmonic, the pitfalls of the North Miami streets he grew up on entangled him into some legal issues. After resolving his legal issues, Diallo immediately began making up for lost time by hitting local studios and stages across Miami. He was quickly noticed and signed with Bossman Entertainment, Inc. the mega powerhouse located in the Southwest Dade area of Miami, FL where he began to work on his debut album "Spazzmatic". The album showcases all of Diallo's musical talent and abilities ranging from rap to rock and R&B, it is considered one of the most anticipated albums of 2011.
