In 2001, Big Head founded a record label with his best friend and business partner by promoting their group FedUp, which also provided the inspiration for the name of the label, FedUp Records. In 2003, the group split. Big Head continued to drop mixtapes and underground street albums, eventually reuniting with former group members to release a final group project. Over the last year, Big Head has established himself as President of new label, Money In The Bank Entertainment (MintB). "I am glad to have Big Head as a business partner and artist, said Troy "Gunn" Guinyard, Founder and CEO of MintB. "He is one artist that I can say wanted to know the business of music instead of getting caught up in the fame and being popular. As an artist he wants to push the envelope but understands that the fans have to grow and connect with you in every part of music." In May 2010, Big Head released Da Truth hosted by DJ 1hunnit of Orlando. His latest mixtape project, Dome Check, hosted by DJ Krazy Yogi of Street Connect DJs and 101.17 Miami Street Crums radio is scheduled to be released by the end of the year.
